This Privacy Policy explains how NARASIMHA R & D LAB (OPC) PVT. LTD. (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit www.narasimharndlab.com or buy from us. It is written to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
1. Information we collect
- Account details – your name, email address, mobile number and password (stored only in encrypted form).
- Order details – billing and delivery addresses, the products you buy, order history, and your GSTIN if you choose to give one for a business invoice.
- Enquiries – information you send through our contact, collaboration and project enquiry forms.
- Technical information – your IP address, browser type, and the page that referred you to our site.
We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by our payment partner, Razorpay.
2. How we use it
- To process your order, take payment, deliver your parcel and issue a GST tax invoice.
- To send order confirmations, delivery updates and replies to your enquiries.
- To manage your account and order tracking.
- To meet our legal obligations, including GST record-keeping.
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages without your consent.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what each partner needs to do its job:
- Razorpay – to process your payment securely.
- Shiprocket and its courier partners – your name, delivery address and phone number, so your parcel can be delivered.
- Zoho Mail – to send order and enquiry emails.
- Hostinger – our website host, where site data is stored.
- Government authorities – where required by law, for example tax authorities.
4. Cookies
We use cookies that are needed for the shop to work – to keep items in your cart and keep you signed in. Our store software also records, in first-party cookies, how you arrived at our site (for example from a search engine), to help us understand which channels bring customers. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, though the cart and sign-in will not work without them.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account information for as long as your account is open. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires us to. Enquiry messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up.
6. Your rights
You may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can update most details yourself under My Account. Some records, such as invoices, must be kept to meet legal requirements even if you close your account. To make a request, contact our Grievance Officer below.
7. Security
Our website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, passwords are stored in encrypted form, and access to customer data is limited to staff who need it to fulfil orders.
